GC-IPI
KI3
Impregnated Activated Carbon
GC
IPI is a bituminous coal-based activated carbon that
is chemically impregnated with potassium iodine (2%).
It is effective for the desulphurization of gases and the
removal of acidic contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen
chloride, and mercaptans. The percentage of potassium
iodine can be vaired upon request.

Caution!
Wet activated carbon removes oxygen from air causing
a severe hazard to workers inside carbon vessels. Confined
space/low oxygen procedures should be put in place before
any entry is made. Such procedures should comply with all
applicable local, state and federal guidelines.
